anjoRENEW Contractor Agreement

anjoRENEW is a lifestyle wellness organization designed to reduce overwhelm, restore capacity, and support sustainable daily life—primarily for women. Our work is non-clinical, relational, and grounded in lived experience.

Independent Contractors are an important part of how this work reaches and supports our community. This Agreement outlines expectations, structure, and shared responsibilities so that we can operate with clarity and alignment.

1. Independent Contractor Relationship

Contractor is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee. Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship.

2. Scope of Work

Contractor agrees to support anjoRENEW through two primary functions:

a. Membership Growth

  • Introduce women to anjoRENEW Membership

  • Share and invite participation in a relationship-based, non-transactional manner

b. Member Support

  • Provide 20-minute Connection Calls to anjoRENEW members

  • Offer practical, grounded, non-clinical support

  • Contribute to consistency and retention within the membership

3. Non-Clinical Services

All services provided under this Agreement are non-clinical and do not constitute therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention.

Contractor agrees to operate within this scope at all times.

4. Contractor Membership Requirement

Contractors are required to maintain an active anjoRENEW membership while participating as an Independent Contractor.

Contractors receive:

  • 25% off the annual membership

This allows contractors to:

  • Experience the platform firsthand

  • Stay connected to the community

  • Engage in ongoing support through Connection Calls

Contractor acknowledges:

  • Active membership is required to remain eligible to participate

  • Access to contractor opportunities may be paused if membership is inactive

5. Compensation

First 90 Days (Builder Phase)

  • $20 per new monthly member referral

  • $50 per new annual member referral

After 90 Days (Ongoing Role)

  • $10 per new monthly member referral

  • $25 per new annual member referral

  • $10 per completed 20-minute Connection Call

6. Payment & Payout Terms

anjoRENEW is committed to clear and consistent payment practices.

a. Payment Schedule

  • Payments are issued on a monthly basis

  • Payment timing will be communicated during onboarding and may be updated as systems evolve

b. Connection Call Payments

  • Contractors are paid $10 per completed 20-minute Connection Call

  • A call is considered completed when the session takes place as scheduled

anjoRENEW may:

  • Withhold payment for missed or incomplete sessions

  • Apply cancellation or no-show policies where applicable

c. Membership Referral Payments

  • Membership referrals are paid after confirmation of payment, contractor must report on invoice and payment made the following month

d. Payment Method

  • Payments will be issued via Square, Squarespace Payments, Zelle, or check.

  • Contractor is responsible for providing accurate payment details

e. Taxes

  • Contractor is responsible for all taxes related to compensation received

  • anjoRENEW will issue appropriate documentation, including Form 1099-NEC, as required

f. Adjustments

anjoRENEW reserves the right to adjust or withhold payment in cases of:

  • Policy violations

  • Off-platform transactions

  • Errors in reporting or eligibility

7. Personal Services & Platform Use

Plain Language Summary

You’re welcome to have your own business and offer your own services.

If you work with any individual you are introduced to through anjoRENEW—including through Connection Calls, membership, events, referrals, or any interaction within the anjoRENEW community—that individual is considered an anjoRENEW member for the purposes of this Agreement.

Full Terms

Contractor may operate their own independent service-based business outside of anjoRENEW.

However, if Contractor engages in any paid or unpaid work with an anjoRENEW member—whether introduced through the platform, Connection Calls, or the anjoRENEW community—the following applies:

  • All services must be booked and paid for through the anjoRENEW platform

  • Contractor may set their own rates for these services

  • anjoRENEW will retain a 12% platform fee on all such transactions

Contractor agrees not to:

  • Accept direct payment from anjoRENEW members outside of the platform

  • Move or transition anjoRENEW members into private arrangements outside of anjoRENEW systems

This structure supports consistency, clarity, and trust across the community.

Non-Solicitation of Members

During the term of this Agreement and for 12 months after termination, Contractor agrees not to:

  • Encourage anjoRENEW members to leave the platform

  • Transition members into private services outside of anjoRENEW

  • Use relationships formed through anjoRENEW for off-platform business

This does not restrict Contractor from working with clients not introduced through anjoRENEW.

If This Policy Is Not Followed

If this section is not followed:

  • anjoRENEW may terminate this Agreement immediately

  • Unpaid compensation may be withheld or adjusted

  • Contractor may be required to remit applicable platform fees

Repeated or intentional violations may result in removal from the network.

8. Scheduling & Availability

Contractor agrees to:

  • Maintain accurate availability

  • Honor scheduled sessions

  • Communicate promptly about changes or cancellations

9. Professional Expectations

Contractor agrees to:

  • Maintain confidentiality and respect member privacy

  • Communicate in a grounded, respectful, solution-focused way

  • Operate within anjoRENEW’s non-clinical scope

  • Avoid gossip, harmful behavior, or misrepresentation

10. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Contractor may have access to confidential information, including:

  • Member identities and personal information

  • Internal systems, materials, and processes

  • Business operations, pricing, and strategy

Contractor agrees to:

  • Keep all such information confidential

  • Not use or share it outside of anjoRENEW

  • Protect member and company data

These obligations continue after this Agreement ends.

11. Intellectual Property & Brand Use

All materials, systems, and processes remain the property of anjoRENEW.

Contractor may use branding only for approved purposes and may not represent themselves as an employee or owner.

12. Term and Termination

This Agreement may be ended by either party at any time with written notice.

anjoRENEW may terminate immediately if Contractor:

  • Violates policies or confidentiality

  • Operates outside agreed scope

  • Damages community trust

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the full understanding between the parties and may only be modified in writing.
